This WolfPack 1080p 10x36 HDMI Over LAN Matrix POE Switcher sends 10–1080p HDMI video and audio signals to 36 TVs up to 450 feet away using a single CAT6/7 cable. This LAN-based HDMI matrix switch sends any input to any output, in any combination, or all outputs controlled with a tablet and a PC. The Ethernet switch supports both copper (CAT6/7) and fiber network interfaces.

10x36 HDMI Over LAN Matrix Switcher Configuration:

  • 1080p HDMI to LAN Transmitters to 450'
  • 36: 1080p HDMI to LAN Receivers to 450'
  • 1: 48-Port Rackmount 1G IGMP POE Managed Ethernet Switch
  • 1: Wireless iPad Controller and its Ethernet Switch
  • 1-119" Rack Mount Kit for Up to 14 Transmitters

10x36 HDMI Over LAN Matrix Switcher Features:

  • Wireless Real-Time Video iPad Preview: Preview the source video on an iPad before sending it to the TVs. That means your iPad will show the videos on all your DirecTV receivers in real-time. If you have 6-DirecTV receivers all set to different channels, you'll see six different real-time videos—not pictures, but real-time video—on the iPad. You can then send them if you choose.
  • Apps & Windows Control: This LAN-based 10x36 HDMI Matrix Switcher allows any input to be routed to any output, or the same input to be routed to all outputs, or any combination all controlled with an iPad and Android App, optional wall-mounted touchscreens, and a Windows PC. You can turn all the TVs OFF and ON with one iPad button.
  • Video Wall Support: You can create a system with video walls of any size and quantity based upon the number of outputs you have, with input and output HDMI resolutions supporting up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. The 10x36 HDMI LAN matrix is shown in the picture.
  • Cascadeable Ethernet Switches: Ethernet switches can be cascaded and act as one large matrix. This is great for multiple floors, multiple rooms, and even multiple buildings by using fiber between them. All the many TVs will be in perfect sync with each other. The Ethernet switch supports both copper (CAT6/7) and fiber network interfaces.
  • VLAN Support: This 10x36 LAN-based HDMI Matrix Switcher can be installed on your existing LAN with VLAN capability. Our VLAN HDMI Matrix System uses VLAN technology to isolate and protect the HDMI signals from other traffic on your network. Devices on the same VLAN can communicate as if they were on the same physical network, even connected to different switches or routers.
  • Build Your Own (BYO) or Buy Pre-configured Systems: We offer two ways to purchase our systems: one is to BYO, and the other is to buy this preconfigured 10x36 POE HDMI Over LAN Matrix Switcher.

Why not buy this 1080p 10x36 HDMI Over-LAN Matrix Switcher today?

Q: How do you test before you ship my system?
A: We put the products in the heating room for 12 hours for aging, have all the products turned on, and set the room temperature to 140 degrees. If anything fails, we replace the failed unit and start the test over again.

Q: What is the switching time on the HDMI over the IP network?
A: The switching time is about 80 to 100 ms.

Q: What is the latency on the HDMI over the IP network?
A: The latency is about 80 ms.

Can the Ethernet switches be cascaded and still act as a matrix?
A: Yes. The network switches can be cascaded and still act as a large matrix.

Q: Is it a Web GUI control or PC software?
It is a PC control software-based system that sets up the configurations.

Q: How do you change the IP and MAC addresses of the transmitters and receivers?
A: You can set up the IP and MAC on the iPad app or PC control software, but we recommend using the automatic IP and MAC address so that it can support plug-and-play.

Q: If the transmitters and receivers have audio out on the receiver, can the audio be matrixed, such as Receiver A sending audio out to Receiver B if using the audio out?
A: The audio output on both the RX and TX is the corresponding audio with the video, so its audio function is only an extract function from the video and cannot be used as an audio matrix.

Q: On the IP control box, there are (2) LAN ports; would that be for two separate LANs?
A: We will only need to use LAN 1 for the controlling and settings and the broadcast version.

  • LAN1 (AV/POE): To connect with the network switch, use the PC control software to control this system.
  • LAN2 (C): To connect with the network switch, this is used for a third party to use the IP control of this system.

Q: What is the distance with POE in and out?
A: With the POE, the input can be up to 450 ft at 1080p@60Hz, and the output can be up to 450 ft at 1080p@60Hz.

Q: What type of UTP cable do you recommend?
As it's used for video signal transmission, we recommend using the CAT6a STP 868B cable.

Q: Can you use CAT6-5E-6 and 7 cables, and is there a difference in the length of the wires?
A: We did the tests here with the CAT6/CAT6/CAT6/CAT7 cable, and the CAT6 and CAT7 are the best and can reach a distance of 150 m with POE.

Q: Please explain when the large and small streaming resolutions will be used.
A: The highest resolution can be up to 1080P@60Hz; the lowest resolution is 680x480@60Hz, but that resolution can't support IP camera decoding.

Q: When do you use the control box?
A: There are two situations where you will need to use the control box:

  1. When using the broadcast version (unlimited TX and RX),
  2. When needing to use a 3rd party to control this system (IP/RS232),

Q: Does the iPad control require a wireless router?
A: A WiFi router will be needed to connect to the same system.

Q: The diagram in the manual shows the IP control box with only an Internet connection; does a PC plug into it?
A: The control PC uses a LAN cable connected to the same network switch.

Q: Do you think you also recommend managed POE switches?
A: Yes, the managed network switch is more stable, and it's fanless, which is quieter.
